Multifunction switch buzzing

My '08 XLT started a buzzing sound from the turn signal area every time I signaled a right turn. I know, some will say "Why would you want to signal? No one else does." Anyway, I shopped around to find a replacement and decided to go "used". The switch arrived and it was not in the shape I wanted to go into my truck. So I used it for parts. The disassembly is not too bad, but Ford recommends removing the steering wheel. Really? Not one of their "better ideas". Just take your time and you can work around all the plastic cowling pieces and get to the switch. One screw and three connectors, there's a tab on top to press, and the switch comes up and out. I used three small flat head screwdrivers to open the old switch and reveal the inside switches (practice on the donor switch first!). My problem looked like arching took place and pitted the trace for the right signal. I replaced the pitted part with the donor part, lubed the moving parts with dielectric grease, and reassembled it. I then installed the switch in the truck and replaced all the cowling pieces. It works like it should now. It may have been quicker to have bought new switch, but now I know why it malfunctioned in the first place. Here's a few pics.
