Newbie here. Have an 04 F-150 FX4. Drive it today bout 150mi with out any problems. Went to back in to a driveway and had no reverse. I put it in drive and moved forward just fine. I was trying to back up going up hill. Done it before without any problems. I drove around the block and just pulled in straight. Got out and smelled what I thought was brakes. Then bout 2min later backed out on more level ground just fine. Drove bout 4mi and parked with no smell. Read somewhere bout an E-brake issue. The E-brake hasn't worked properly for awhile. So?????
