Command start. starts and stops.

ok. I have researched high and low and no one seems to have the same issue. Its a 2006 f150 5.4 3v 4x4 XLT with the factory command start.*my problem is that I hit my start button and the truck starts up just like it always has, but after a couple seconds it dies. Then starts up again just as before but dies again. it does this 5 times beeps and gives up.Now if I hit the button and let it start and before it dies insert/turn the key in the ignition it stays running. All last year it worked fine then the battery died in the remote right after winter. Just recently replaced it and now it had this issue. Also ive got another remote as a backup and it used to work aswell but does the same thing and its still rocking the original battery.*Any and all help is appreciated, thanks.

I have seen this before on some GM cars, it was related to the security system bypass not working properly.

However it could also be that the remote start is not detecting the tach signal properly, so it doesn't think the truck has started.

You could check those things out.
