'07 FX2 Radiator Question

I have an 07 FX2 that has a leaking radiator. I have flushed and drained the coolant. The upper and lower hoses along with the small fill tank hose have all been removed. The transmission lines however are a problem. There is a nut / fitting that appears to be swaged onto the transmission line. I removed the fitting from the old radiator but it will not fit into the new radiator.

I have done some reading and find references to a quick disconnect tool. I bought a kit from Advance Auto. I can't get the black slotted tool over the transmission line. Do I have the wrong tool? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I was not able to find one that worked, so I modified one of the aluminum ones to fit. They are supposed to have one in the box if u buy from ford. Mine did not.

I used a saleen s331 radiator, its off their version of our trucks. It's a duel bypass. Ford racing makes one as well. Fittings worked perfectly. :3

So those fittings do come off the lines! Does any one know what tool is required? How do you use it?

Go to ford and buy one. Autodumb and O really? Carry cheaply made ones that are too thick.
