2006 F150 5.4 Engine light flashing.... no codes

So im pulling into my neighborhood, as I brake to slow and turn, truck starts shuttering and CEL starts flashing. as i complete turn truck is running smoothly but CEL still flashing. I go 1/4 mile to my house. as I pull in drive, CEL stops flashing. I stop in driveway, grab my Predator tuner out of the glove box and check for codes. No codes found.

So I pull it in the garage, and do a full inspection on it. tire pressure, fluids, etc. all good except the oil level is at the very bottom of cross hatch.

now this truck has 60k on it, has no oil leaks and doesnt burn any that im aware of so im wondering if I did something stupid, screwed up and didnt put enough in it 3000 miles ago. it is due again anyway so I havent added any yet, I will park it, drive my stang and get some oil this evening and change it. Im not sure that being at bottom of cross hatch is enough to cause the light though, thats maybe 1/2 a quart?.....

i did just get the OEM plugs changed out last month (~500 miles or so) with out breaking a single one, thank God. I put the newer motorcraft plugs in with a good amount of anti seize. truck has run fine since, no issues.

any idea of what caused that? im hoping its not a trans issue.

Shuttering truck and flashing CEL is probably a misfire. Since your spark plugs were changed recently, it could be a bad coil.

Did you replace the COP boots and use a small amount of dielectric grease? Try a bottle of Techron in the gas in case the injectors are dirty. Have you ever changed the fuel filter?
