Wiring path for keypad door handle

Today, I installed a new door handle with keypad (did not come with keypad) in 08 Screw. Plugged it in and it works – yea.

I could not, however, figure out how in the heck to secure the wiring harness,

I gave up for the evening as the mosquitos were about to carry me off.
I am concerned if I do not get the wiring properly secured it could get caught up in the window, lock plunger linkage, or some other of the various moving part inside the door.

Handle has a sort of L shaped carrier for the wires near the end of the carrier – toward the plug end there is one of those push in plastic “stud” – obviously meant to secure it – but I can’t seem to find a logical place to secure it. I wonder if I fed the wires incorrectly. – Does anyone have any advice or pictures of your wire carrier path?

Thanks for your help[img]

I got tired of waiting and went back out with a fresh mind.

Did not take too much mucking about until I decided on my routing

I am happy and confident that what I did will work - I took some picture so that others can see what I did.

Note that I am a rank amateur - this is what I did- follow at your own risk
