4x4 quit...

was just fine,but the other day would not engage (light off).
Gonna check the connector to the 4x4 motor,any suggestions?
All fuses are ok.How about the selector switch?

That happened to me last year. It was the switch itself.

Have you tried tapping the back side of the ESOF motor lightly with a mallet? They have a reputation of going bad over time an will cause your exact symptom. Sometimes a little love tap will wake them up. You should be able to hear the motor moving the shift fork if it is working.
