Passenger power mirror
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum world but have been viewing this site since I got my 2006 crew cab. I need some help with my passenger power/heated mirror, it will only move side to side not up and down. Driver side works fine. Replaced the mirror and the problem stayed the same with new mirror. Any advice would be greatly apprieciated.

If the problem is the same with the new mirror it would have to be in the switch or the wiring to the mirror motors.
The switch should be easy enough to check with a DVOM. I would take a close look at the wiring where it goes from the cab into the door. The constant flexing it must endure frequently wears on the wires or breaks them.
Should be easy to figure out and repair, you already did the hardest part - earn the money it took to buy the mirror
