How much torque on Sway Bar Links??

Just got my replacement Moogs in and it says like 66 on one of the points and 90 something on the other point...seems like a lot...should I follow the directions or do you guys have a recommendation?

I know some people have worn the Moogs out really fast from over torquing

We have the stupid 90* ones on our trucks, they are a pain to remove.

The link to bar torque is 98 ft/lbs and the link to lower control arm torque is 66 ft/lbs.

If you find the need to drop the whole sway bar to install, the torque for those brackets is ONLY 35 ft/lbs! Do NOT over tighten those two brackets, I snapped one that I bought since the installer did the same as I and over tightened. Hope that helps

Got em on today they are really nice. I just torqued them snug and then used an impact air wrench to tighten them a tiny bit more. I had a torque wrench but 66 ft lbs and 98 ft lbs was insane!

I bought some end links for a replacement. I don't have a torque wrench. Trying to decide if I need it. Looks like you couldn't get it all the way to spec. So is it necessary?

Also found the 98/66 spec but also found a 66/18 spec below. Which is right?
