2008 FX4 "Flareside Raptor" Build Thread

Check out my white truck in my garage...This has been fun and interesting over the last 6 months. I have built 2 cool trucks from bone stock. I love Fords!

https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...truck-too.html

I took 10 pics that you can review and read the captions about what I did.

Nice looking truck man! Are you gonna put some fiberglass bedsides on it too? And any reason for choosing raptor oem suspension parts over a true long travel kit? I can't imagine the raptor suspension parts being that cheap considering how new they are haha.

If you look at the comments on my pictures I have posted the prices I paid. I bought all used parts. As for the bedsides...no. I love stepsides. They rock. If I do another truck I may go long travel. I don't really need it in Nebraska but it does intrigue me.

In case people don't want to click on the link, I'm posting your picture here for you. It's a totally Bad-*** truck (and this is coming from a lowered truck guy) and no one should miss the pictures.

Love it!

That's the type of build I have in the back of my mind for when we're done needing to cart kids around.

I still kick myself for not buying a set of brand new takeoffs from a brand new raptor. Guy sold wheels and tires for $1200. Tires had like 600 miles on them.

I was wondering when you'd make a build thread! What's it like having 2 supercharged F150's?

I meant to do this yesterday, and I forgot. But here are the rest of his pictures, just helping him post them.

I hyperlinked the initial post to view my garage. I finally figured out how to do it.

to Ryan James: No video's yet, sorry.
to: KMACO Thanks! I may sell the Yellow One. It is a "growler" mean and nasty but I like the regular cab.
to: bnkrpt and mustang Johnny and zombie Thanks!

Sold my tires yesterday and am buying new wheels and tires today. BFG 315/70/17 with either Method 304's balck with machined bead lock look or KMC XD 125 Balck with beadlock machined ring look. Open to suggestions on the wheels.
