Wow, only 20k? That's impressive. I thought I had lows miles (65k haha). Do you have another vehicle as your dd? I wouldn't have replaced the coilovers either. Makes sense why you got the spacer.

At 65k my rotors are still fine. None are warped. I replaced the front pads about 500 miles ago, but that's it.

Yeah, it's pretty much like new inside and out minus some corrosion on frame and undercarraige from the winter. I used to rack up the miles on my other trucks, but now have the home office so commute is 20 seconds to the office on foot. I've got an Explorer as well, so split the mileage between the 2. I don't even worry about the oil changes, just do every 6 months now.
I had badly warped rotors at 7k on my old '05 and dealer replaced. So far so good on these. Got a great deal on the truck back in '08 when they had huge rebates and couldn't pass up on a brand new truck for 12k!. Plus I wanted one of the last stick F-series.

They're the monroe quick strut coilover assembly. The spring and shock are already mounted. All you have to do is take out the old coilover and put the new one in. No spring compressor needed.

As I said, I'm 2wd but put in the 4x4 coil over as its a little longer. I also have oem rear blocks so, besides my tries being a tiny bit smaller (mine are 30.6" stock 4x4 is 31") I'm now at stock 4x4 ride hight which I think just looks way better than 2wd ride height.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Here are a couple pics of it detailed. Still has a good amount of rake. Not sure how I lived with it the way it was before.

What upper ball joints are those with the grease fitting? Is it the whole control arm assembly?

They're Moog. And yes, it's the whole upper control arm assembly. They're really cheap on rockauto.com
