No start ECU problem

Hey guys, I'm needing some help with my '08 4.6. This morning when I tried cranking the truck nothing happened. The battery was dead but even after charging it still doesn't even make a noise when I try cranking it. It is like the PATS is keeping it from starting but the light blinks normally.

With the truck in run, my programmer says that it cannot connect to the ECU and a little code reader says "No Link"

I have just finished going through the fuses for the second time with none of them being blown.

I should also mention that yesterday I bought a brand new trailer and noticed that on the way home I didn't have any running lights. Once I got home I rooted around and replaced the running light fuse so that the lights worked. I have not been able to drive the truck since.

If you think its PATS then maybe try a different key?

Have you tried unhooking the battery for a few minutes to reset everything?

It isn't a PATS, it just acts like it. Unhooking the battery didn't have any effect on it.

I think it is the ECU relay. I took the relay cover off and played with it. Plugged it back in and was able to get the truck to crank and drive but it was dead on the next ignition cycle.
