Might Be A Stupid Question

ive searched and searched and could not find an answer to my question. ok so ive been thinking about doing the gotts mod on my intake. when i got to looking i discovered that their is a pretty good size hole behind the headlight beside the intake. so my question is if i ran my hose out beside/ in front of, the radiater would it increase air flow or would all the bends cause it to be useless. and i know the more direct flow the better but im just curious.

Well, I don't think you would see any benefit to it, bends or not. The issue with that idea is that you seem to be thinking "ram air", when that's not really of much benefit to most modern fuel injected vehicles. The Gotts mod, running into the fender well like stock, provides protected air (read, less dust/rain) for most any power level you are going to run short of supercharging it. So, there's no advantage to what you are proposing.
