2009 cluster in a 06

I was wondering if it was possible to place an 09 cluster in a 06?

probably not. you probably need a new computer, wiring harness, and make it fit in the truck somehow. Im assuming its more complicated than that. A lot of things have changed in those years

I'm actually thinking of doing this aswell, but also swapping the complete dash. Hopefully someone sheds more light on this.

3 words , can of worms..... Unless you have a wiring genius buddy who likes to work for free beers then it might not be such a supreme pain in the rectum. Only way Id even attempt it is to replace the complete harness out of a similar truck , eg if you have a supercab then use a newer supercab harness. But then you run into engine/transmission computer differences etc etc. Like I said , Can Of Worms....
