DIY custom badges

Just showing off my badges I restored and customized. It was pretty easy just time consuming, but I was working in Savannah so I worked on them in the hotel at night.
Here's the how to link.http://www.fordf150.net/howto/customemblems.php

Thanks, there was plenty of beers consumed in the process.

custom badges made in a hotel! Lol now thats dedication to what we do.
Badges look great, the only part of my true blue metallic truck i hate is that the ovals are pretty much already colormatched so i never got to play with my emblems

GREAT write up!! I've been looking to replace my emblems with black ones but couldn't bring myself to pay $80+ for them. This is definitely my next mod!!!

Nice. I just re-painted my front emblem. What a pain in the a$$ it is to strip the residual original paint, then tape, trim, etc. Still better than paying out the butt for a new one though. And I just noticed the rear one got chipped and the clear coat is bubbling fast and furious...
