Driving me nuts!!!
Hello everyone, yes...I'm a newbie
Well, I picked up a 2006 F150 Lariat and I have something going on that's driving me nuts. I did some research and came up with nothing then again, one of you may know exactly what it is.
Here we go...I have something that seems to kick on while driving (notice it right away at low speeds best) under the hood that I can feel and hear in the truck. You can feel it through the floor with your feet, hand on the wheel or shifter. I can also physically hear it. As I slow down almost to a stop it turns off (Doesn't go away but turns off). It's not always going, it's intermittent...on - off, mostly on. It's not violent by any means but enough to notice. The wife took the truck to work the other day and I didn't say a word. She came in the door and said what's up with the truck. Some type of harmonic imbalance....clutch fan?
