Quick, easy STX power window and lock question before install

Hey all,

I have an 05 supercab STX and wish to install power windows and door locks. I have done extensive research on the MANY posts about this topic. I have a set plan in place and all seems pretty easy. I just have a simple question before I purchase my items for install.

I'm going with OEM regulators in use with an Electric Life switch kit, and for the locks, a MES 2 door lock kit (no switches).

Here's my only question. Will I have to splice the window switch kit wire harness into my exisiting F150 wire harness? Will I have to get under my dash and cut into wires? In all the posts I have read, I can't find anything on how the aftermarket switches get power. And the same for the door locks, how will those get power? I'm assuming nothing is plug and play.

This is the only thing that makes me nervous. All else seems pretty easy.

Thanks for the help.
