Good evening guys,

The winter weather here in Missouri has played absolute hell on my truck, with a total of 26" of snowfall in the matter of a week, lets just say it didn't fair well against a culvert while avoiding a Cadillac sliding sideways. I am taking the truck into the shop, and having work done to the front clip, and other portions that were damage and would like to look into getting the bumper from an 08 pickup to fit on this one. I understand there are brackets and so forth that need to be had, however I was curious as to if anyone had a list of those brackets and parts needed.

My upper and lower bumper are trashy, as well as my fogs and the bulbs inside of them so these will all need to be replaced anyways.

Do you want the round fog look?

The 05 fogs can run higher watt bulbs but they're rectangle and nothing would really need to be done extra if you got that 05 bumper with fogs. Plus i think the 04-05 always had a better output of light dispersion....imo

 

You are right on this one .After i hit a bambi .I ask the dealer to put an 08 bumper on my 05 . I was shock for the low light illumination .Luckily after a year I found somebody wanted a trade .
