I'm gettin' the blues!

Well I wiped all of the green coating away from the back of the display with acetone and cotton balls and it came off really easy.....took about 20 minutes. Then I covered the areas that I want blue with 2 layers of a blue cellophane that I found in a craft store.I thought about using blue LED's, but with a tight budget I decided to keep all of the original clear bulbs and use the cellophane. As soon as my new needles get here from US Speedo I'm gunna get this thing installed....can't wait It's all starting to come together.....this mod

Looks pretty sweet. I would think LEDs with a clear black board would be too annoyingly bright. Doing the entire interior?

Thats slick. I would consider this task, but I don't really want to get that involved. Wonder if they make a more electric blue looking blue.

I've wanted to do that with mine too. I replaced mine with a white face guage that looks good until you turn on the switch and see green numbers shine through. What did you use to hold the cellophane down?

Does anybody know how I could do this to my AC/fan/whatever unit? I want my whole dash lighting to be red.
