I installed a 2"AS level about a month ago. I went the next day to my local Midas to have the alignment done. I have been back 2 times since because the front end has come out of alignment. About 2 weeks ago I noticed a popping noise during turning. It doesn't do it all the time and it does it on both left and right turns (regular turns at an intersection). I am going to go back in and recheck everything but it sounds like there is some play in something when I turn. Anyone have any ideas? Are the spacers side specific? I don't remember them being marked left or right?

 

Waaaaay back when I had a 2"AS spacer I didn't get the sway bar end link tight in the lower a frame and I had a pop now and then. Retorqued and no more pop.

Don't know if this is your issue but thought I'd share.

 

Thanks stealth! I'm going to go through all the bolts again. Something probably backed out a little but the whole alignment thing has me stumped. I'm not very happy with their service so I'm not 100% sure they didn't mess something up.

 

Same issue with my kit that I installed a few months ago. Would hear a pop when turning and checked and the sway bar end link wasn't tight. Tightened it up and the problem disappeared.
