2007 stx 5speed build up(just starting)

So im new to this site and wanted to get some ideas an different perspectives on my truck! so far the only thing is a jvc head unit and CAI but i was thinking of starting with some small cheap stuff as in a saleen grille, head/tail lights, tint, badges off a newer stx, bed cover, etc and eventually headers(if i can find any for the 4.2), lowering kit(not sure on how much of a drop yet), and either flowmaster 40's or borla. input? oh and its snowing here so no sense in cleaning her up for pics just yet maybe in a few days

Borla makes an exhaust for our 4.2's? I know Gibson does. There are headers out there. I want some to. Search on google. There are a ton of forums for guys like you and I who want to upgrade our 4.2's. Find the whole lot of them today. My truck needs tint desperately to. Is your's a regular cab? I'm assuming you have a manual transmission since mine is a 4 speed auto. I really want some train horns

Does it have painted to match bumpers Id assume? If not def do that. PTM side view skull caps. Def tint is a must but you already did it! I would have done 22s no bigger, 20s are ok too esp with the v6 they might be better. I would do 2 front /4 to 5 rear drop on the 20s, run a 285/45 tire prob?

For muffler, I would do something not crazy loud. Maybe look into a 14-18 inch Magnaflow Oval Muffler, straight through for performance stainless steel at that and at highway speeds quite when you get on it you hear it, best of both worlds I love em, 18 inch is prob best lil less loud would prob work great at complimenting the v6, to loud will have you looking silly just right you will enjoy it and people wont know your a v6 starving to be heard. Great to hear let see some pics.
