Unhappy Trouble starting now injector bad

Hi all..ok here is the run down.
Truck died on highway. Replaced FDPM and fuel pump.

It runs, but it takes awhile to start. If i cycle the key like 3 times, it will start. I was told the fuel is not staying in the fuel line and by cycling the key, it forces the pump to get the fuel back up so it will start.

Ok, now check engine light came on. I think the guy who ran the code said it was one of the fuel injectors not firing.

My question, would the problem with the fuel not being in the line cause the injector to stop working?

And, the reason why the fuel isnt in the line would could be caused to the pump not being connected correctly??

thanks...

Please post the exact code number. Was the fuel filter also replaced? What year and engine?

2007 f150. 5.4 not sure if filter was replaced. the code was 0305 "cylinder #5 misfire"

It starts "normal" if i cycle the key 5 or 6 times. The fuel pressure isn't holding.
