my alt. siezed and im in need of a new one. looking on rockauto i can get a 130 motorcraft for $235.00.

MOTORCRAFT Part # GL407

i shopped around and this popped up.

is this the same alt. and will it fit??

i can get the TYC Part # 208318
for $110.00 but its only 110A. the GL407 is 135A

so, my question is...can i get the GL407 from sears and will it fit my 2004 5.4L?

 

I had mine rebuilt for a fraction of the price by a local guy, was back up and running in just a few hours

 

mines toast. froze up and cracked the housing..no rebuild for this one.
