Wont Start

I have an 04 5.4 and the thing wont start. Its not the battery because I bought a new one and put it in, and it still wont start. I drove the truck yesterday, so its something that just happened. When I turn the key, I hear one click and thats it. All lights, windows, radio etc... work... what do you think?

The starter maybe.
Sometimes you can get underneath the truck and tap on the starter with a hammer and it will work. If it does then you know it's the starter.

If it was the FPDM, the truck would turn over, but not start.

Well I started checking the wires at the starter and it was so corroded and nasty. I started taking the connections off and things just starting breaking. Went a bought a new one, and viola... all is working. Only problem is I wont know if it was the starter or a bad connection because the stems from the selenoid broke off. By the way... what a pain in the *** that job was... couldnt make that fit in a smaller space.

You're right. I didn't read it correctly.
