I'm getting tint in California tomorrow what should i get on the front 35 or 20%

Plenty of illegal dark tint in Ca. and unless it's extremely dark you PROBABLY won't get stopped just for the tint, but if you get stopped for anything else, you'll definitely be pulling you "excessive" tint off. Don't think you'd have much problem with going a little darker than "legal" but too far and you will be pulling it if stopped. It's all about officer safety. What you're thinking about is way too dark.

Factory rear glass is around 18-20% tint, so I say 20% if you are going to make it match. I've got 5%.
