Block heater

Is there anyway for me to be able to tell if my truck came stuck with a block heater? And if not where should I look. There is no cord at the bumper but I read somewhere that it still may have one just not have a cord. It's been -30 the last few days so I really don't want to be under the truck longer then I need to be. I appreciate any help. Thanks

That's -30 Celsius. I'd love to move south but there's no work for me there

You may be able to get your VIN checked at the dealer or someone here can for your options list.

Probably have one if its a Canadian Vehicle.

Although all F150's av seen here have the cord in the lower bumper cut out (If applicable)

If you find it then test for resistance across the + / -

If you have one, it will be in one of the freeze plugs. I dunno about the 04+ but mine is near the back of the engine on the driver's side.
