Cowl End Replacements for $20
Cowl End Replacements for $20
First off, I don't work for or know these folks but happy I found them.
This is the only place that I was able to find those cowl ends that deteriorate, become brittle and fly off without having to pay the $200 plus replacement cowls that the dealership wants.
Got em for $20 bucks which included the fast shipping...................Kwit

This is old news now, but it is a Godsend !!!!!
I think they are cosmetic, not for sure though. You would think there is a leprechaun and a pot of gold attached to them though from how hard they where to find and the price the dealership wants to charge for them since you have to buy the cowl itself.

I don't think they do anything special other than cosmetic, but the do look like h**l without them. It does seem like Ford could have made them available without having to buy the entire cowl though.......they had to get them from somewhere ..
BTW......Really NICE website !! Wish you were closer to my area.

Good find mine have been broken for several months now. Been debating on to get a new cowl or just live with it. Now that you found these I'll be getting some of theses in the next couple weeks or so.
Finally installed mine today (had them 2 weeks). Thanks again. Not perfect, but way better than $250 plus for the new cowls. For those who are worried they will rattle/whatever, contact cement will secure them better. I had used that to extend the life of my originals before they fully dry rotted off. The cement will come off if you need to re-do this in 5-7 years.

[/QUOTE]I know it's not a big deal but I wonder why the don't fit like the original did. I got a pair (my old ones looked just like yours) and they fit perfectly, laid down to the fender perfectly on both sides.
