Frontier Brush Guard Installed

I found a frontier Brush Guard on CL for 250. I kinda just jumped on it so i didnt really do alot of research so hopefully its a good brand. Seems sturdy and looks good. It mounted under the factory tow hook and came with two brackets that mounted behind the lower air dam.

Not a big fan of the Metal mesh hiding my H-bar so I will probably grind down the spot welds and yank it off. Later down the road I may also take it to a shop and have it sanded and powder coated as some of the paint seems to have started chipping.

Also does anyone have a pdf of the install for this grill? I want to make sure I am not missing any not so obvious brackets, I just made an educated guess on how it all went together.

I don't think that's a Frontier. The main vertical bars appear too narrow in the OP's picture, and then bottom headlight bars flow into the verticals differently when you compare it to Frontier pictures.

Your right, I didn't notice the middle bar missing till you mentioned it, good catch.

Very Interesting. This is the cl ad I got it from http://quadcities.craigslist.org/pts/3323833391.html. The Grill on the Brush Guard has a picture of a hog. I can get a pic tomorrow ... Its a very good likeness of the Frontier style but definitely the one in the ad is not a pic of the one I bought. They look so similar I didn't even notice before.

Yeah, the one you bought isn't even close to the picture in that ad. The picture in that ad doesn't even match the Frontier one in his link to Ranger Off-Road.

In fact, I think I found where he got the picture from. Appears to be from a brand called One Source, which still isn't even the one you received.

Sorry, should have said that is not my truck. It's from a member on another forum, don't know if he's over here or not.

They look pretty close. Its definitely not the one source.... Maybe the title should be "what brush guard is this" for the thread
