i have an 08 f150 5.4 with 20k miles on it and i was cruising down the freeway (70 mph) and all of a sudden it kicked out of gear and was acting as if it was in nuetral so i pushed in the o/d button and it kicked back in gear but without the button pushed it wont go past 50 without falling out of gear, anyone had this happen?

 

Take it to the dealer, your transmission is still covered under the 5 year/60k mile powertrain warranty.

 

ya its going back just cant take it until friday and its been eating me alive i brag to everyone about fords reliability now im doing the wlk of shame haha thanks for the response
