I have a 2004 with power mirrors but they do not have the turn signal on them. Is the harness in my truck for these or what would it take to convert them if I bought the style that has the turn signal in them?

 

From what I have read the harness is only in the 07 and 08 model years. It was in my 08 when I swapped them to tow mirrors.

 

If the harness is not in the truck its pretty easy to do. Just like an aftermarket mirror with a turn signal. Just run a power wire from the LED's in the mirror and T Tap the stock turn signal mirror from the headlight on the side the mirror is on. 18 gauge wire, a T tap, some electrical tape and your in business.

 

the ford towing mirrors have pins though, so you would have to know which pin to connect too. at least that is what i gathered when i installed them on my truck

 

If its a pin option just cut the wire free that the pin would correspond with and my layout will still work. I know someone on here has done aftermarket turn signal mirrors if you do a search you should be able to find the thread with pictures.
