How hard is it to change the starter?
Every once in a while when I start my '07 4.6 with 144,000 miles I'll get this grinding noise. Could the starter be going out? If so, how hard is it to change it yourself?

Yeah mine has the same problem. It's not difficult, I would say the first time you may cuss it a few times. Other than that it's really not bad. I wrote up a how-to article some time ago but lost the pictures.
