Build/Project thread for my SCrew

So I figure I'll chronicle the projects and builds that I do on my 2006 Lariat Super Crew. Here is a picture of it about a week after I picked it up. It just turned over 90,000 miles. Of course the spark-plug replacement project is on the short list of things to do.

Overall, I just plan to keep it a clean street truck and not go the lifted and mudder route. I did that on my Jeep and my wife wasn't a big fan of having to climb in and out. Plus my kids (6yr old and 4mo old) will have an easier time getting in and out.

A few things to get this build going:
gotts mod done the day I bought it.
Purchased a Pioneer AVH-8400BH (need to put it in)
Purchased ground control 2" drop for the rear to level out
Already installed a BedRug
Already installed a Peragon cover

Next weekend is the All Truck Nationals in Carlisle (about 30 minutes from my place). Going to go see what else I can pick up at a good deal. Hoping to score a 3D Carbon or similar chin spoiler.

I also to start the de-chroming package and probably pick up a Carriage Works billet (black) grille.

I would love to hear any recommendations for functional/performance/maintenance improvements. Already put in a new fan clutch and my mileage went down about 2.5mpg Guess I'll start thinking about an e-fan upgrade.

I'm going to have to spend a day or two working on taking out the swirl marks the dealer put in before I picked it up. There are a lot of people out there that should not be holding a rotary buffer!

Throttle Body...the intake inlet and cmcv's restrict this mod
Throttle Body Spacer...snake oil
Spark Plugs...motorcraft sp515 for the 5.4 3v...all others are junk plugs
Air Filter...motorcraft, aem, afe, amsoil are all pretty good
Fuel Filter...motorcraft
Oil Filter...motorcraft
Edge Evolution Programming...a gryphon or edge CS+cts from PHP, sct device or diablo, all can have custom tunes and are far better than those that only have canned ones.
