Do I need relay harness for HID for this truck?

Hi, I'm new to here. My friend got a HID kit for headlight and fog light for his 2004 F150. The kits didn't come with relay harness. Allso, his high/low HID has halogen bulbs. Can his truck handle the HIDs without having relay harness?

Thanks

I hope to God you are doing a projector retrofit, or you are going to blind everyone with the glare from your headlights. Leave the HID's to the ricers unless you want to do it correctly. Don't be a douche by putting them in the stock housings, you'll get worse lighting anyway. Yes, a relay is always the best way to wire them.

Always do a relay harness especially with hid ballests.....hopefully you're going to do a projector retro fit and not PnP it.....

Ok thanks! It is for my friend. I do agree with you about not putting HID in stock housings. I will tell him about projector retro.
