Hey guys, I have searched high and low on here and tried all things to fix it. I have replaced the brake interlock switch, checked all fuses, and checked my third brake light as well as all other lights, and still no luck! I really miss having cruise like my old truck. Not sure if this info helps but it has the center console shift. Only other electrical issue is the power mirrors don't work. Any suggestions would be great!!

 

My cruise stopped working about 3 months ago. One day I was on the highway and it was working fine and then it just turned off. Then I would turn it back on it would work for about 5 minutes and then it would just go off again. After trying it several times, it just stopped working period, it would do nothing. When I took the truck in to get it's 100k mile service and tune up I had them look into it and they told me that there was something wrong with the CPU and that it would have to be replaced. $2400 Job is what they quoted me, they said the CPU itself cost about $1400. So I said, no thank you, I can live with out cruise, but I sure do miss it. Every now and then I will try it, 95% of the time it does nothing, but every now and then it will work for about 5 minutes or so and then shut off. Sucks, the truck only has 101K on it! Maybe you are having the same issue.
