The Dark Knight

I just wanted to post a couple of before and after pictures of my 2005 FX4. I couldn't of done any of it without this forum and all the threads I have read of what other people have done to their trucks.

I started with the fog lights because I had problems with moisture. Opened them up painted and resealed. Haven't had a problem since. After that it was off to the races. Did my wheels and love the look.

I then did the running boards and brackets(took them off to paint). They got the Rustoleum Bed Liner. After that was all my badges, logos and exhaust(painted all of them in place). Then I used nite shades for the rears and 3rd and also did the fronts(Did in basement...House stunk bad had to open windows). I decided to paint the flares and handles on the truck and I'm very happy with the results.

Now maybe some more tint on the fronts. I sprayed the wheel wells and most of the rusted out under carriage that you could see by standing on the sides. Its been a fun couple of weeks but I'm glad its over.

Looks good, I agree with Sooner though, get some tint on those front windows to finish it off. Nice work brother!

Turned out great. My two front windows were only 53 bucks tinted to match the back, so hopefully you can get a similar deal. How is the light from tinted heads? Just got black headlights instead of tinting them.

Nice looking truck!

Everything you've done so far looks great!

With the exception of the tinted head lights.....a blacked out projector retro fit would look way better....imo

The light from the headlights is still great. I did 2 light coats and 4 on the reflector. Didn't want to take them apart like the fog lights.

I would have left the ford logo blue and either removed or left the F150 logo chrome. That's all a matter of taste though and it's your truck not mine. It looks good. I hope you enjoyed doing it yourself.
