My cruise is not working and I have an airbag code of 34. I had the recall done on my 2004 fx4 for the airbag about a year ago. I cleaned the front airbag sensor, but still have issue. Are these 2 issues related? Could it be my clock spring? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Suddenly, my cruise control has starting working. I am still getting the airbag code 34. I have cleaned the front sensor and the 2 yellow clips next to the seat belt thinking they may be causing interference with the airbag system. Does anyone have any other ideas? I would like to rule out all other possibilities before attemting to change the clock spring in the steering console.
