I believe you'll need the Lisle extractor to thread into the porcelain to get it out

But it's all the porcelain all in one piece still with the tip holding it in the chamber. I don't know whether to Try to snap off what's left with a screw driver, drill it down to the tip or try to grab it w an easy out.

Thx for the reply pat though and love your truck

Ahem, Lisle tool. You didn't follow the TSB procedure for spark plug removal did you?

Same thing happened to me when I replaced them in my wife's Navigator. You will have to break them then use the lisle tool get the rest out.

What did you do to break them? Tsb states to soak them and then just yank the porcelain with pliers

Update
I pulled them w pliers and got one out. Now the bit end is pretty dull so I'll have to wait to get the last one.
I've done these before and never had one leave all the porcelain intact like mine did. I appreciate the replies guys and fwiw I followed tab steps w soak and lightly cracking the plugs w pb blaster. I also ran techron thru 2 tanks. Sure enough the 4 in the back half of the motor broke but that's how it goes.
Thanks afain

I don't think the TSB ever called for PB Blaster ! Even with the proper carb cleaner as stated in the TSB, you might have had problems anyway ! LISLE TOOL TO THE RESCUE ONCE AGAIN !! Your getting there and that's what counts !
