spark plug possibly broken?

Hi guys today i decided to change the spark plugs on my 2004 f150 5.4 3v. i just had them done 12000 miles ago but the autolight plugs i used were no good so i bought motorcraft. i managed to get them all out but one. I honestly don't remember if i was able to get a grip on it. it seems like i have a grip on it but it never comes out.
the problem is that i feel like i have a grip on it and i turn it but it just keeps spinning. i had to drive to work today and i have a misfire so im assuming its that plug i didnt get out. does it look like its broken? ive never broken a plug so i don't know what that looks like.

i managed to get a picture with my phone (sorry its a bad picture)

what do you guys think i should do?

That well looks like it's full of some kind of crap. Stick a pick down there and start chipping.

today i fired up my compressor and blew air into the cylinder. All the dirt and stuff came out. I dont know if it was me or the mechanic that changed my plugs last time, but there is a piece of tape stuck down there and i can't get it out.

i locked myself out of photobucket but i will post some pictures tomorrow.

This truck is frustrating me!!!

I just went through a very similar issue last week. Can you get a grip on the plug now with most of the dirt blown out? soaking it with pb blaster is a good start to ensure you get all the corrosion and junk out.

I can't grip it yet. I wish I would have broken the plug because I have the Leslie tool that would be easier

Is it cyl 4? That's the one that took me for a trip last week.

You need to get a deep well 9/16 extractor from snap on. Mine took 2 days to arrive shipped across the border. Let the thing soak in PB blaster and remove excess fluid and dissolved metals/dirt/grime with rolled up paper towel. Takes a bit of time to clean it out, but it will most likely be worth it in the long run.

It's a very expensive fix, equivalent to many weeks of work, so if you need to get a ride or take the bus for a couple days I'd wait, you never know what could be happening with the plug.

Try tightening it and if it gets hard to turn, then you know you got a grip on there. I had a similar problem where it kept spinning. It turned out to be a broken plug. Had to pull it out with some needle nose pliers then used Leslie tool to remove the broken tip.

After 3 days of struggling I finally pulled it out.
I bought some needle nose pliers today and was able to pull out the piece of tape with those.
Plug screwed right out. With the new motorcraft plugs it runs like new. I put in autolight plugs when I bought my truck a year ago(12000) miles ago, and it has never ran as good as it does now.
