Damn squeaking windows!!

I've been putting up with this problem far to long! 3 of my 4 windows squeak when rolling up or down. I thought "well, when it gets cooler they'll stop". Winter came and still doing it. Now it's summer and they still do it. Then I was told to try silicon spray on the "slides", right and left sides of the windows, but that didn't change a thing.
ANY other ideas fellas??

Thanks

Ha, i was going to post this same question. Do urs sound like they are squeeking at about 2/3 the way up to all the way up or from all the way up to 1/3 the way down?

i dealt with this problem as well and fixed it. its not the slides that squeak. its the plastic wheels that the metal cable is attached to on the regulator. the plastic wheel is mounted to a metal arm and on mine i did not find any grease at all on it. you have to remove the door panels to access the bottom of the regulator and if you look in the door you will see the wheel with a metal cable on it. grease that up with the silicone spray lube and that should fix it. 3 out of 4 of my windows did this and i did this fix about a year and a half ago. no issues still!

Man, mine sure do sound like the actual glass is squeaking. Maybe it's just the sound dispersing in the door?

Guess I'll try this next....

I had the same problem and tried lubing everything inside the door and the tracks. The problem would get better for a short while and then come back. I finally just replaced the regulator and no more squeeks after 2 yrs.

i thought the exact same thing until i took the panel apart and rolled the window up and down. sprayed the wheels and it was gone after rolling it up and down a couple times.
