Dashboard noises!!!

Ok, so here's my problem...when I turn the air on in my '08 FX4 it begins to let off this terrible screech noise. It isn't constant, but more of a slow pulse I guess you could say. So to solve the problem I turn the air off, only to be welcomed by another noise. When the air is off it sounds like a coffee maker is inside the dashboard, making a faint bubbling type sound. The sounds seem to be coming from the top of the dashboard by the defrost vents. Anyone with some help!? The noises are terribly annoying.

Mine has always made a small whining noise for about 2 seconds when I first turn on the heater, but I think its normal. I also think I have heard the bubbling type noise you describe, to me it almost sounds like something vibrating and it only does it when the truck is stopped and radio off, but I haven't ever thought anything about it. I believe they are both normal noises, but I don't know for sure.

Could be, but none of our other vehicles do it. I haven't heard of this same problem before with anyone else either. My noises are both present when the truck is parked, driving, etc. Also, my screeching noise doesn't stop. I have had it on for around 5 minutes before I had to turn it off because of the noise. haha...

Yeah I don't think its supposed to go on for that long haha. I don't know a lot about the a/c system, but it could be something like a loose belt or a bad part in the compressor.

I have the same bubbling noise in mine. Sounds like something is kid of vibrating back behind the dash.
