When cold, gauge act up- why?

2004 crew, fx4, 84k.

I noticed it only happens in the morning and is cold say 32-35* .

When I turn motor on, it's running but all front gauges act up ( its like having seizue ) then more than 5-10 sec later, back to normal show

Why did it happen ?

Thanks

It normally does that before the battery goes bad. Does your truck still have the stock battery? My stock battery went bad at about 70k miles and was doing the same thing a couple days before it gave out.

As long as you get a decent one with good CCA and not the cheapest one on the shelf, the you should be good. I think I went with Everstart, but theres lots of good batteries out there.
