Fx4 w/leveling kit & 35s

I've got a 2006 F150 Fx4 Scab with a 2.5" Daystar Leveling Kit and was wondering if I get 35x12.5x18 Nitto Trail Grapplers, and put them on my stock 18" rims, will I have to do any trimming?

Also, if anyone has a picture of something similar, that would be extremely helpful in making my decision on what to get. I'm about to place an order on Discount Tire, and I'd like to know what I'm getting.

Thanks for any help!!!!

Depending on the tire width, you should be fine. Only rubbing you'd really have to worry about is on the upper control arm- tire, which can also be affected by tire sidewall- aggressive or non aggressive. I'd look into something with 35" height but a bit narrower. Perhaps a 315/60/rXX. That is about an inch narrower than a true 35x12.5.

I had 35x12.50x20 trails on factory 20's with a 3" leveling kit and they rubbed a little at full lock. But to be fair, the stock 20" wheel has 6.5" backspacing, and the 18" have 5.5" so they will probably rub less than mine did.

I had 35-12.50-18 Cooper STT's on mine with a billet 2.5" leveling kit and no rubbing, but when I went to the 35" nitto mud grapplers they rubbed like crazy. The nitto was true to size, with both tires unmounted, the nitto was almost 2" wider than the cooper.

I am running 35x12.5x18 BFG KM2s and they rub slightly at full lock...however its a definite notice that Nitto's 35x12.5 are wider than my BFGs. Just different for each company....but you should be alright bro.....

Ok not to be rude I was new once as well. But I know that I personally have made a thread for this and found numerous threads to lead me in the direction I needed. It will work fine with the level kit and BFG 35's (34.5). Numerous people have trimmed and some didn't. I did not have to.
Just be prepared to do so when you get them mounted. If you use stock wheels you will need to rotate OFTEN maybe 3k. And your tire pressure depending on how hot it is outside...
I run 35 during summer and 40 during winter. Just depends on how you want them to drive and wear.

GO FOR IT!! You wont regret it.
