I am considering "upgrading" the exterior of my FX4 to the FX4 luxury package like the 2007 and 2008s. With that being said, short of painting my headlights where can i source the dark shadow gray headlights that were used? Not diggin the full black headlights, but if the DSG headlights are hard to find/expensive ill go black.

Second, i seen some posts on paint to match door and tailgate handles. I read quite a few posts about them but couldnt find a part number for the normal paint to match handles (dont like the chrome LT ones). I know i can easily take mine off and have them painted but that means i wont be able to use the truck and if i ever sell it i can put the stock ones back on. I still need to locate/buy a set of standard power mirrors, but that is proving to be difficult locally (no junkyard stock em). Im still on the fence if i will do the handles, the black breaks up all the silver but at the same time the black is starting to get chalky colored if not detailed. If i dont paint to match ill just paint them black myself from a rattle can.

Also, what year were the standard power mirrors availble with the removable caps? I seen 2007, is that correct?

And to cover my bases the FX4 luxury package on the 07/08 had paint to match door handles, tailgate handle and mirror skull caps? While im having parts painted im gunna have the flares done in DSG instead of that craptastic chalky dark gray plastic.

My FX4 had the power heated mirrors, and all FX4's have at least power mirrors standard. The painted skull caps were available in 07-08 on the FX4 lux pack but were a completely different mirror housing, you can cheat like I did and just paint the top half of your caps and get the same look.
