I am looking to put an used transmission in my truck. Its an 05 screw with a 5.4. I found a used trans out of an 08 with really low miles. Will it work in my truck?

If the 08 also had a 5.4L engine, yes it will work. Otherwise no.

Is your transmission broken? If not, wait until it goes before swapping. You never know the 08 could be a lemon and the swap isn't even worth it if the 05 is running and well-maintained.

Yep the trans is broke. Ive been told there is something up with the seals. I already rebuilt it once. I just need to get the ruck running agian. Im going to keep the old trans and build it up when I get some extra money.
