Spring Detail-2012 (PIC HEAVY)

Spent all day yesterday and half the day today detailing the truck. I used solely all Adam's Products.

Products Used:
  • Porter Cable 7424xp
  • Swirl & Haze Remover (2x Orange Pad)
  • Fine Machine Polish (2x White Pad)
  • Machine Super Sealant (2x Grey Pad)
  • Brillant Glaze
  • Americana Premium Carnubba Wax
  • Super Vinyl Rubber & Tiring Dressing
  • All Purpose Cleaner
  • Green Wheel Cleaner
  • Undercarriage Spray
  • Boar's Hair Wheel Brush
  • Fender & Tire Brush
  • Glass Cleaner
  • Leather & Interior Conditioner
  • Leather & Interior Cleaner
  • Waterless Wash
  • Waterless Wash Towels
  • Detail Spray
  • Clay Bar
  • Single Soft Microfiber Towels
  • Double Soft Microfiber Towels
  • Quick Sealant

Took the old backroad to my neighborhood down to Palmetto Bluff Road

(Need a new fender flare)

The two MODs I need to do soon are:

1.) PTM Mirror Caps
2.) Set Bilsteins back down to Stock & get a 2.5" Level

Great job on that. I'd love to "spring detail" my HD, but in Canada we gotta wait until at least April to be sure that the winter is done.

I shouldn't complain though...it's been the mildest winter I can remember...tomorrow will be 12 celsius/53 fahrenheit.

Looks good!

1. Fix the driver's door. It's buggin the hell outta me!
2. Why are you dropping the Bilstein's and putting in a spacer? Just curious.

Yeah the door dent is 10x more noticeable when it is clean Gonna fix that here soon. Gotta find a decent place to get a estimate. Last place quoted me $875 for just the door

Because right now I'm on 2" and it is not level enough for me. Only time it looks level is sitting on a average parking spot with a mild slope. On level ground it is definitely not level. Good bit of rake. A ton of people tell me I need to get a leveling kit. "Dang it, it's been leveled for almost two years!"

Once I switched to 33s from the 35s I really noticed it

Your truck looks great! The retrofits turned out real nice, it's definitely on my to do list. I just got my tow mirrors PTM, looks so much better!
