Have not done any searching, however this afternoon my FM stations stopped working (static sound) and only AM work, any thoughts or similiar problems and solutions, thanks in advance.

 

Fm tuner circuit is bad, If the antenna was bad you would get some sound on fm but nothing on am.

 

Orlando you are giving me some hope. I just a bought a 2005 and I can tune in most of the local FM stations, but none of the AM stations. The AM band is just static.

I wonder if it is just the antenna or cable from the radio to the antenna?

 

check the cable between the two. I can't remember if the connector is behind the glove box or in the pass.kick panel.
