As the title says I traded away my 06 Lariat and moved to the RAM camp - local dealer (where I had purchased the Lariat used 5 years ago) called me up and convinced me to deal. Drivin a sweet, heavily moded & loaded, 2011 RAM SLT with 5.7L Hemi and Rumble Bee sport package.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the years of friendship and help (especially Patman!). Being on this forum added so much value and pleasure --- and I hope that sometimes I contributed a bit too.

Good lookin' truck. As far as looks go, the new Rams (esp w/that hood) look better than the other non-Ford options.

Well don't come knocking at my door to have me put telescoping pedals on this truck too

 

As much as I like RAMs and hate to **** in people's cheerios, the chrome on that truck looks downright hideous. The handles, rub strip, step bar, bugflector, wheels, fuel cap-- it looks like you bought it and drove it straight to pep boys plastichrome aisle.

But if you like it, more power to you...

 

The Ram looks nice but get rid of some of that chrome and it will look nicer! You can still come around these parts too ya know.
