ok so i bought my truck 4 months ago its a 2005 f150 xlt supercab 5.4 triton ...so right now i got a whinding/whirling noise from the front driverside i believe thats the IWE solenoid so i got that on backorder right now if thats not the problem let me know.....also the airbag light flashes 4x then 2 and stays on after so im thinking front impact sensor .... and i took it out of overdrive today and after about 15minutes i smelled like burning plastic or rubber and now the check engine light came on...so please if u can help or give me any advice on what could be wrong it would be really appriecated

 

I've got the same truck since new and don't have any of those problems. For sure I'd take it to Autozone or someplace like that to have the codes read.

 

yeah im planning on that but i replace the IWE solenoid and the noise is gone and the check engine light turned off so now i just need to find out why the airbag light is on thanks for the response though
