Hi Guys,

On my paperwork from the dealer it says my 07 Lariat Supercrew is flexfuel, how can I tell for sure, I'm not really bothered either way but just in case I need to try it I didn't want to mess anything up? There is no logo on tailgate as I've seen on later model F150s.

I'm pretty sure my 06 says something about flex fuel on or around the gas cap... It's been awhile since I've paid attention to it tho... maybe look there for starters

There is a tag in the engine bay that will confirm it, your gas cap may have a bit on info, too. The tag in the engine bay may be on the valve cover, I think it says something like "FFV".

you can have a Ford dealer run your VIN# to be sure....

 

The 8th letter in the vin will be a v if it's flex fuel that's what I'm told. Mine is a v but doesn't have a badge on the gate and nothing around the cap. I didn't know about the engine tag I will look there mines an 07 king ranch I'm like you it doesn't matter just would like to know. There isn't anywhere close that sells e85 anyhow.

 

I have the FFV engine, and there aren't many stations here in OK that sell it either, but I wouldn't run that stuff even if there was.
