I have an 05 supercrew. I have a problem with the 4x4 indicator light on the dash. When I shift from 2 wheel high to 4 wheel high the 4x4 light on the dash will flash and go back off but the 4x4 stays engaged but when I put it in 4 low the light for 4 low comes and stays on. So does anybody have any idea of what is wrong with the 4 wheel high light flashing and going back out?

 

Try tapping on the shift motor on the transfer case with a non-metalic object (hammer HANDLE, etc). The motor may be sticking.
